STOP snoring! I can't sleep!
As I am writing this I can't help but chuckle as I remember what my husband said to me last night. We as a married couple have a very weird set of hours I work during the day he works at night so basically we are two ships passing each other by every single day. When I am up to go to work he is snoring away and when he gets home I am on cloud nine lost in dream land. The difference is that while he is sleeping and I am getting ready for work I tend to be very considerate of his sleep time. I don't stay in the room making noises moving things around opening and closing draws or closets. I take my stuff and leave the room have my coffee take a shower get dressed and just go back to the room to give him a kiss and I am off to work. When I am sleeping he comes in he watches the t.v which does not bother me but then he starts laughing loudly at a show he may be watching he may eat in there too. He even talks to me while I sleep and all that commotion wakes me up. As it is I am kind of a light sleeper I am not fully gone or awake unless I am truly exhausted then I could sleep till the next millennium. The thing is the other night he came in and I was still awake it was about 1AM and since I hardly see him anyway I decided to stay up till he came in spoke for about 15-20 minutes exchanging our days events we cuddled and I did not even know what time I was off in dream land. The next thing I remember which is quite unexplainable really because my sleeping pattern is so weird though I was dreaming I was sort of awake too and was biting my lip and rubbing my nose my husband said "what's wrong with you?" I came back and said "nothing I am scratching my nose". "Problem"? He said "no"! But I have been trying to fall asleep for the last 40 minutes but your damn loud snoring won't let me! Can you imagine my response? After all he is NOT a silent sleeper either. I dare to say when he snores the curtains can't help but sway and the shades shake to the point he leaves the room with no oxygen. Literally...lol! His mouth is usually open and his head is leaned back like he is waiting to catch flies...lol! I was so aggravated "I said okay so the prince can't sleep huh"? He said when you sleep on your back you tend to snore too loudly you HAVE to sleep on your side. Are you kidding me? I sleep however is comfortable to sleep. If you can't deal with my snoring put on some ear plugs! By morning I was really exhausted and thinking about the whole conversation if you can call it one. And I stood to reason I may have to do something about my snoring. I also started thinking how my snoring was bothering him and his snoring doesn't faze me. It doesn't bother me and I am not really one to go for the tit-for tat. Wondering how those nose strips really work or not? Has anyone used them? Does anyone have any suggestions? Would love to hear feedback on this!
